I spent the last week at TechEd for Developers in Orlando Florida. I would like to thank the Advantage Partners and many others who dropped by the booth to say hello. The best part of my job has always been interacting with our customers.
As usual Bill Gates headlined the Keynote on Tuesday morning. He announced that this would be his last keynote as the CEO of Microsoft since he will be stepping down on July 1st. The keynote is well worth a look, Bill Gates is a very good public speaker and he still has a very firm grip on today's technology and he continues to have a very optimistic vision of the future of technology. He is still very much the visionary.
Sybase iAnywhere participated in the ADO.NET Chalk Talk session along with database vendors. SQL Anywhere will be providing an Entity Framework provider with the next version. We are currently in the investigation phase for an Entity Framework Provider for Advantage. You can read more about the Chalk Talk session here.
